Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Can someone who joins late be part of the team?"

A short clip on Ummah Muslim recites ayah 75 of Al-Anfal. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who are 'of you'?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do relatives have special rights?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 75. The surah ends by welcoming those who believe later: they are part of the community too. It also reminds us that family ties have special rights, such as in inheritance.

Fact: An-Nisa 4:1 tells us to honour family ties.

Ages 5–8: Welcome late. Include someone who joins a game late.

Ages 9–12: Surah summary. Write three lessons from Surah Al-Anfal.

Finish with: "Relatives have priority in Allah's ___."

Talk together:

• Who are 'of you'?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why do relatives have rights?
• What is your favourite lesson from Al-Anfal?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will include someone who joins late."

• Everyone can join.
• Honour family ties.
• Share your summary.
• Next time: the next surah, Al-A'raf (surah 7), tells the stories of many prophets. Explore it together!

Action: Include someone who joins late.
