Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What makes faith real?"

Quran Recitation Daily posted a short recitation of ayat 71–75 of Al-Anfal. Listen to all of it together.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two gifts do they get?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do actions show faith?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 74. This ayah praises both groups again: those who left everything and those who gave everything. Their actions proved their faith. Allah promised them forgiveness and generous provision.

Fact: Al-Hashr 59:9 praises the Ansar for preferring others over themselves.

Ages 5–8: Faith in action. Do one action that shows your faith.

Ages 9–12: Proof. Write how actions prove faith.

Finish with: "The Ansar preferred others over ___."

Talk together:

• Who are the true believers?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How did they show faith?
• What action shows your faith?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will show my faith through one kind action."

• Faith in action.
• Give and help.
• Allah forgives and provides.
• Next time: the next ayah (8:75) ends with those who joined later. Explore it together!

Action: Show your faith through one kind action.
