يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ فِى ٱلْحَقِّ بَعْدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
Yujādilūnaka fī l-ḥaqqi baʻ'damā tabayyana ka'annamā yussāqūna 'ilāl-maw'ti wahum' yanẓurūna
Disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it.

Some argued with the Prophet about the right course even after it was clear, as if they were being driven towards death while watching.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do we sometimes argue even when we know what's right?"
Daily listen Quran has a short Al-Anfal clip of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 1–8. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did it feel to them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does fear change how we see things?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 6. Fear made some companions feel the danger was huge. They argued about something already made clear. Allah shows us honestly how believers felt, and how He helped them through it.
Fact: Roughly how many Muslims were at Badr: about 313.
Ages 5–8: Brave step. Talk about something scary that you did anyway.
Ages 9–12: Fear and truth. Write how fear can make us argue against what is right.
Finish with: "About ___ Muslims were at Badr."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say a dua when I feel afraid."
Action: Say a dua when you feel afraid.
