فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِم مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
Fa'immā tath'qafannahum' fī l-ḥar'bi fasharrid' bihim mman' khal'fahum' laʻallahum' yadhdhakkarūna
If ye gain the mastery over them in war, disperse, with them, those who follow them, that they may remember.

If the believers met those treaty-breakers in battle, they were to deal with them firmly so that those behind them would scatter and think twice.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can one firm response stop more harm?"
Play the short Al-Anfal clip of ayat 51–60 from Madani Islamic Academy.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What was the aim?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can firmness prevent bigger trouble?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 57. This was about tribes that kept betraying the Muslims. A firm response would warn others not to betray, preventing more fighting. The aim was to stop harm, not to cause it.
Fact: Why rules and consequences help keep everyone safe.
Ages 5–8: Rules keep us safe. Talk about a family rule that keeps everyone safe.
Ages 9–12: Prevent harm. Write how firmness can prevent bigger problems.
Finish with: "The aim was so that they would ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will follow a safety rule without being reminded."
Action: Follow a safety rule without being reminded.
