ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتَّ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِى كُلِّ مَرَّةٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَ
Alladhīna ʻāhadtta min'hum' thumma yanquḍūna ʻah'dahum' fī kulli marratin wahum' lā yattaqūna
They are those with whom thou didst make a covenant, but they break their covenant every time, and they have not the fear (of Allah).

They are the ones you made agreements with, who broke their agreement every time and had no fear of Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you trust someone who always breaks promises?"
A short clip on Aldys Room recites ayat 51–60 of Al-Anfal. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How often did they break agreements?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does breaking promises destroy trust?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 56. Some tribes in Madinah kept breaking their treaties with the Muslims. Each broken promise made trust harder. Believers keep their promises.
Fact: Find Al-Isra 17:34: fulfil every promise; promises will be asked about.
Ages 5–8: Promise kept. Keep one promise perfectly today.
Ages 9–12: Trust. Write how keeping promises builds trust.
Finish with: "Promises will be ___ about."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep every promise I make."
Action: Keep every promise you make.
