They ask you about the Hour: when will it come?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do we know exactly what time it is?"
Watch the TED-Ed video "Who decides how long a second is?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do people ask the Prophet ﷺ?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why doesn't Allah tell us when?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 42. The key words ayyana mursaha mean "when will it arrive?" People kept asking when the Day of Judgement would come.
