4-I guide
So Allah seized him as an example, in the Hereafter and in this life.
Start with bismillah.
Drop a stone and a cork into water. Ask: "Why does one sink and one float?"
Watch the SciShow Kids video "Sink or Float?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happened to Pharaoh?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Pharaoh an example for us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 25. The key word nakal means an example, a warning lesson. Pharaoh's power could not save him. Other surahs tell how he was drowned in the sea.
Fact: Why do some heavy ships float but a small stone sinks?
Ages 5–8: Sink or float. Test ten things from the kitchen. Make two lists.
Ages 9–12: Boat challenge. Make a foil boat. How many coins can it carry before it sinks?
Finish with: "I found that things float when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember that only Allah has real power."
Action: Remember that only Allah has real power.
