But Pharaoh denied the truth and disobeyed.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can a beaver's dam stop a river forever?"
Watch the Nature on PBS video "How Do Beavers Build Dams?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh do after seeing the great sign?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would anyone deny something so clear?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 21. The key words fa-kadhdhaba wa 'asa mean he denied and disobeyed. Pharaoh tried to block the truth, like a dam blocks a river, but the truth still flowed on.
Fact: How does a beaver build a dam?
Ages 5–8: Mini dam. Build a dam of sticks and mud across a small stream of water in a tray. Does water still get through?
Ages 9–12: Beaver engineers. Find out how beaver dams help other animals.
Finish with: "I found that beavers build dams by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'you're right' when someone shows me the truth."
Action: Say 'you're right' when someone shows you the truth.
