Then again, no indeed, they will soon come to know.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "When you see lightning, what do you know is coming next?"
Watch the AumSum video "Why do we see lightning before thunder?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is special about this ayah compared with ayah 4?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah say it twice?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naba is surah 78. Find ayah 5. It begins with thumma, "then again", and repeats ayah 4. Saying it twice shows it is certain, like thunder that always follows lightning.
Fact: Why does light reach us before sound?
Ages 5–8: Count the gap. In a storm, count the seconds between lightning and thunder.
Ages 9–12: Speed race. Find out how fast light and sound travel. How many times faster is light?
Finish with: "I found that we see lightning first because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will repeat one good action every day so it becomes a habit."
Action: Repeat one good action every day so it becomes a habit.

Stay indoors during lightning storms.
