So that We may bring out grain and plants with it.
Start with bismillah.
Look at a grain of rice. Ask: "How many grains of rice do you think you eat in a year?"
Watch the Eat Happy Project video "Remarkable Rice".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the rain bring out?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does rain become food?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naba is surah 78. Find ayah 15. The key words habban wa nabata mean grain and plants. Rain makes crops grow to feed people and animals.
Fact: How much water does it take to grow rice?
Ages 5–8: Grain hunt. Find rice, wheat, oats and corn in your kitchen. Draw each one.
Ages 9–12: Rice terraces. Find out why farmers build terraces on hillsides.
Finish with: "I found that rice needs ___ to grow."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will finish all the rice on my plate."
Action: Finish all the rice on your plate.
