4-I guide
And We built above you seven strong skies.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What protects us from the Sun's harmful rays?"
Watch the Dr. Binocs video "What Is The Ozone Layer?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah build above us?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What are the seven skies?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naba is surah 78. Find ayah 12. The key words sab'an shidada mean seven strong ones. The seven skies are part of what Allah tells us; scholars explain them in different ways. Our own sky also protects us, for example with the ozone layer.
Fact: What does the ozone layer protect us from?
Ages 5–8: Sun shield. Draw the Earth with a protective "blanket" around it blocking harmful rays.
Ages 9–12: Ozone story. Find out how the world worked together to help the ozone layer heal.
Finish with: "I found that the ozone layer protects us from ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will wear a hat in strong sun and thank Allah for His protection."
Action: Wear a hat in strong sun and thank Allah for His protection.
