4-I guide
This will happen when the sky is split open.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever seen the sky glow with green or pink light?"
Watch the NASA Space Place video What Is an Aurora?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to the sky?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is above the sky?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mursalat is surah 77. Find ayah 9. The key word furijat means opened up, split apart. The sky looks strong and whole, yet on that Day it will open.
Fact: What makes the sky glow during an aurora?
Ages 5–8: Aurora art. Use chalk pastels on black paper to draw an aurora. Smudge the colours with your finger.
Ages 9–12: Shield of the sky. Find out how Earth's magnetic field protects us from the Sun's particles.
Finish with: "I found that auroras happen when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look up at the sky each evening and say subhanAllah."
Action: Look up at the sky each evening and say subhanAllah.
