They will be told to eat and drink happily as a reward for what they used to do.
Start with bismillah.
Taste a little honey. Ask: "How many bees do you think worked to make this?"
Watch the Deep Look video about how honey bees make honey.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why are they rewarded?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Which of my deeds will Allah reward?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mursalat is surah 77. Find ayah 43. The key word hani'an means with joy and ease, and bima kuntum ta'malun means because of what you used to do. Every good deed done today is rewarded, just as the bees' hard work becomes sweet honey.
Fact: How much honey does one bee make in its whole life?
Ages 5–8: Good deed jar. Drop a dried bean into a jar for each good deed this week. Count them on Friday.
Ages 9–12: Hive jobs. Find out the different jobs bees do in a hive.
Finish with: "I found that one bee makes about ___ of honey in its life."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one hidden good deed each day."
Action: Do one hidden good deed each day.

Honey is not for babies under one year old. Never touch a bees' nest.
