4-I guide
After the warning of the Fire's sparks, woe on that Day to those who deny.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What should you do if your clothes ever catch fire?"
Watch the Tommy Flames video Stop, Drop and Roll.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is warned again?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people ignore warnings?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mursalat is surah 77. Find ayah 34. This is the fifth time the line about the deniers appears. It comes after ayat 29–33 about the Fire. We learn fire safety to protect our bodies. The Quran teaches us how to protect ourselves in the Hereafter.
Fact: What are the three steps of stop, drop and roll?
Ages 5–8: Practise. Stop, drop and roll on a soft rug three times.
Ages 9–12: Safety check. With an adult, find the smoke alarms in your home. When were they last tested?
Finish with: "I found that stop, drop and roll works because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will check our smoke alarm with an adult."
Action: Check our smoke alarm with an adult.

Only test smoke alarms with an adult.
