4-I guide
They will be told to go to a shadow of smoke that rises in three branches.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do firefighters tell us to stay low in a smoky room?"
Watch the AumSum video about why firefighters crawl in smoky rooms.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What kind of shadow is it?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can't a shadow of smoke protect anyone?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mursalat is surah 77. Find ayah 30. The key words thalathi shu'ab mean three branches. Many scholars explain this as smoke rising from the Fire. It looks like a shadow but gives no comfort at all.
Fact: Why does hot smoke rise to the ceiling?
Ages 5–8: Low and safe. Practise crawling low under a "smoke" line made from a blanket held up by adults.
Ages 9–12: Warm air rises. Hold a paper spiral over a warm (not hot) radiator. Why does it spin?
Finish with: "I found that smoke rises because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise our family fire escape plan."
Action: Practise our family fire escape plan.

Never play with fire or matches. In smoke, stay low and get out.
