4-I guide
For which Day has all of this been delayed?
Start with bismillah.
Show a packet of seeds. Ask: "These seeds are alive. Why aren't they growing yet?"
Watch the Free Animated Education video Dormancy: The Sleeping Seed.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does the ayah ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why has Allah set a Day and not told us when?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mursalat is surah 77. Find ayah 12. The key word ujjilat means delayed until a set time. The ayah asks a question to make us think. The answer comes in the next ayah.
Fact: How long can a seed wait before it grows?
Ages 5–8: Wake a seed. Put dry beans on wet cotton wool. Check each day. When do they wake up?
Ages 9–12: Seed record. Find the oldest seed that has ever grown into a plant. How old was it?
Finish with: "I found that seeds wait until ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use my waiting times to say dhikr."
Action: Use your waiting times to say dhikr.
