Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What colour are the clothes?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who gives them the pure drink?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Insan is surah 76. Find ayah 21. The key words thiyabu sundusin khudr mean clothes of fine green silk, and sharaban tahura means a pure drink. Their Lord Himself gives it to them. Green is the colour of life, and of Jannah.

Fact: What makes leaves green?

Ages 5–8: Leaf rub. Put a leaf under paper and rub over it with a green crayon.

Ages 9–12: Pigment test. With an adult, crush spinach with a little rubbing alcohol and dip in a paper strip. What colours appear?

Finish with: "I found that leaves are green because of ___."

Talk together:

• Why is it a great honour to be given a drink by Allah?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What is pure in your life?
• How can we keep our hearts pure?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep my words clean and kind."
