فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةًۭ وَسُرُورًۭا
Fawaqāhumu -llahu sharra dhālika l-yaw'mi walaqqāhum' naḍ'ratan wassurūran
But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy.

So Allah protects them from that Day's harm and gives them a bright glow and joy.
Start with bismillah.
Smile at each other for ten seconds. Ask: "How do you feel now?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah give them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will the joy of Jannah feel like?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Insan is surah 76. Find ayah 11. The key words nadratan wa surura mean radiance and joy. Those who were mindful of that Day will be kept safe from it, with glowing faces and happy hearts.
Fact: How many muscles do we use to smile?
Ages 5–8: Smile chart. Draw a face for each family member smiling. Ask each one what makes them happy.
Ages 9–12: Smile science. Find out what happens in the brain when we smile.
Finish with: "I found that smiling uses about ___ muscles."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will greet everyone at home with a smile and salam."
Action: Greet everyone at home with a smile and salam.
