4-I guide
It is for whoever among you wishes to go forward or to fall behind.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do animals do when winter comes: move away, or stay and sleep?"
Watch the Glowing Pedagogy video about hibernation and migration.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two choices are there?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I keep moving forward in good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Muddaththir is surah 74. Find ayah 37. The key words an yataqaddama aw yata'akhkhar mean to go ahead or hold back. Each person chooses to move forward in good or to fall behind. Animals choose their winter plan too.
Fact: Why do some animals migrate and others hibernate?
Ages 5–8: Forward steps. Draw footprints going forward. On each, write one good thing you'll do.
Ages 9–12: Winter plans. Pick three animals. Do they migrate, hibernate or stay active?
Finish with: "I found that dormice survive winter by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will take one step forward in a good habit."
Action: Take one step forward in a good habit.
