4-I guide
With Allah are heavy fetters and a blazing Fire.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do people get shiny metal out of rough rocks?"
Watch the Tender Intellects video Where Does Metal Come From?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is with Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah warn us so clearly?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Muzzammil is surah 73. Find ayah 12. The key words ankalan wa jahima mean heavy fetters and a blazing fire. This is a warning for those who deny. On Earth, iron must be heated in great furnaces to melt. Allah's warnings are a mercy so we turn back in time.
Fact: How hot must a furnace be to melt iron?
Ages 5–8: Magnet hunt. Use a magnet to find things made of iron in your home.
Ages 9–12: From rock to metal. Draw the steps from iron ore to a steel spoon.
Finish with: "I found that iron melts at about ___ degrees."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah every night to protect me from the Fire."
Action: Ask Allah every night to protect you from the Fire.
