4-I guide
O you who are wrapped in your garments!
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you think happens inside a caterpillar's cocoon?"
Watch the BBC Earth caterpillar cocoon time-lapse.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is being called?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah call the Prophet so gently?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Muzzammil is surah 73, and it has twenty ayat. Find ayah 1. The surah is named after the key word al-muzzammil: the one wrapped in garments. Allah called the Prophet (peace be upon him) gently, before giving him an important task. A caterpillar wraps itself up too, getting ready for a big change.
Fact: How long does a caterpillar stay in its cocoon or chrysalis?
Ages 5–8: Wrap and change. Wrap a paper caterpillar in tissue. Unwrap it the next day to find a paper butterfly you made.
Ages 9–12: Big change. Draw the four stages of a butterfly's life.
Finish with: "I found that a caterpillar stays wrapped for about ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will call my family members by kind names."
Action: Call your family members by kind names.
