وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُۥ هَرَبًۭا
Wa 'annā ẓanannā 'an llan nnuʻ'jiza -llaha fī l-'ar'ḍi walan nnuʻ'jizahu haraban
'But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight.

They said they knew they could never escape Allah anywhere on Earth, nor by running away.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How far do you think a small bird can fly without stopping?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they realise?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Is there anywhere Allah can't see?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jinn is surah 72. Find ayah 12. The key words lan nu'jizallaha mean we can never escape Allah. A godwit can fly more than 13,000 kilometres without stopping, yet it is still in Allah's care. No one can go anywhere beyond His power.
Fact: How many days can a godwit fly without stopping?
Ages 5–8: Long flight. On a world map, trace the godwit's flight from Alaska to New Zealand.
Ages 9–12: Bird records. Find three bird records for distance, height or speed.
Finish with: "I found that a godwit can fly for ___ days without stopping."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed when no one is watching."
Action: Do one good deed when no one is watching.
