Find it in the mushaf: Surah Nuh is surah 71. Find ayah 26. The key words rabbi la tadhar mean my Lord, do not leave. Nuh made this dua only after calling his people for 950 years, and after Allah told him no more of them would believe. After heavy rain the ground is washed clean and new plants push up: Allah brings new beginnings.

Ages 5–8: Sprout a seed. Put a bean on a damp paper towel in a jar. Keep it wet and check it each day. When does it sprout?

Ages 9–12: After the rain. Find out why many desert seeds wait for heavy rain before they sprout and flower.
