Then He will send you rain from the sky in plenty.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which places on Earth get rain almost every day?"
Watch the National Geographic video Rainforests 101.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah promise?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How are forgiveness and rain connected?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Nuh is surah 71. Find ayah 11. The key word midrara means pouring in plenty. Nuh promised that seeking forgiveness would bring Allah's blessings, starting with rain. Rainforests get so much rain that they are full of life.
Fact: How much rain falls in a rainforest each year?
Ages 5–8: Rain sounds. Listen to rain on a window, an umbrella and leaves. Which sounds loudest?
Ages 9–12: Rain and life. Find out why rainforests have so many kinds of animals.
Finish with: "I found that rainforests get about ___ of rain a year."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah ten times each morning."
Action: Say astaghfirullah ten times each morning.
