4-I guide
No indeed, Allah created them from what they already know.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is your body made of, deep down?"
Watch the GrowGrayMatter video Elements that Make up The Human Body.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were they created from?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why should knowing where we came from make us humble?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 39. The key words mimma ya'lamun mean from what they know. Allah reminds proud people that they began from simple things, just like everyone else. Our bodies are made of the same elements found in clay and water.
Fact: Which element makes up most of the human body?
Ages 5–8: Clay pot. Shape a small pot from clay or play dough. Think how Allah made Adam from clay.
Ages 9–12: Body elements. Find the four elements that make up most of the body.
Finish with: "I found that most of the body is made of ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for making me."
Action: Thank Allah for making you.
