4-I guide
For no one should feel completely safe from their Lord's punishment.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do we look both ways even on a quiet road?"
Watch the Twinkl video Road Safety for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why should we not feel careless?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay careful without being scared?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 28. The key words ghayru ma'mun mean not something to feel safe from. Even careful drivers stay alert. Believers never become careless with their deeds; they keep hoping and keep doing good.
Fact: What does "stop, look, listen, think" mean when crossing a road?
Ages 5–8: Crossing practice. With an adult, practise stop, look, listen, think at a safe crossing.
Ages 9–12: Safety signals. Find what the green, red and flashing signals mean at a crossing.
Finish with: "I found that before crossing, I should ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stop, look and listen every time I cross a road."
Action: Stop, look and listen every time you cross a road.
