4-I guide
Believers stay careful and worried about their Lord's punishment.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when you hear thunder?"
Watch the Facts of Nature video How to Protect Yourself From Thunder and Lightning.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What are these believers mindful of?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can being mindful keep us safe?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 27. The key word mushfiqun means fearful, mindful and careful. We respect lightning and take care in storms. Believers respect Allah and take care with their choices.
Fact: What is the safest place to be in a thunderstorm?
Ages 5–8: Storm plan. Draw where you should go if there is lightning outside.
Ages 9–12: Lightning facts. Find out how lightning rods protect buildings.
Finish with: "I found that in a thunderstorm the safest place is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think before I act, asking: would this please Allah?"
Action: Think before you act, asking: would this please Allah?

Go indoors when you hear thunder.
