4-I guide
And those who gathered wealth and locked it away.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do you know an animal that collects things and never uses them?"
Watch the Great Basin NPS video Woodrat Middens. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did these people do with their wealth?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is hoarding wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 18. The key words jama'a fa'aw'a mean he gathered and stored it away. Pack rats collect piles of things in their nests. Wealth that's only hoarded and never shared helps no one.
Fact: What is a woodrat midden, and how old can one be?
Ages 5–8: Share box. Find three toys you don't use. Put them in a box to give away.
Ages 9–12: Use or store? List ten things you own. Which do you really use?
Finish with: "I found that woodrat middens can be ___ years old."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give away three things I don't use."
Action: Give away three things you don't use.
