وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًۭا ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Wa 'am'ṭar'nā ʻalay'him mmaṭaran . fa-nẓur' kay'fa kāna ʻāqibatu l-muj'rimīna
And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!

Allah sent down a rain of stones on them, so look at how the wrongdoers ended.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What can we learn from towns that were destroyed?"
Abdur-Rahman As-Sudais recites Al-A'raf on Al Quran The Solution. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah send down?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What lesson does this story teach?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 84. The town was destroyed, mentioned in one calm line. The lesson: shameful deeds and refusing to stop lead to ruin, and Allah saves those who stay pure.
Fact: Some scholars link the area to the Dead Sea region.
Ages 5–8: Lesson learned. Say one lesson from Lut's story.
Ages 9–12: End of wrongdoers. Write the main lesson of the story.
Finish with: "Look at the end of the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay away from shameful things."
Action: Stay away from shameful things.
