وَٱلْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
Wa l-waz'nu yaw'ma'idhin l-ḥaqqu . faman thaqulat' mawāzīnuhu fa'ūlā'ika humu l-muf'liḥūna
The balance that day will be true (to nicety): those whose scale (of good) will be heavy, will prosper:

On that Day the weighing of deeds will be true, and those whose scales are heavy with good will be successful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes something heavy on a scale?"
Play the short clip from EPIC MASJID of Sajjad Gul reciting ayat 1–23 of Al-A'raf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will succeed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes our good deeds heavy?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 8. On the Day of Judgment, deeds will be weighed fairly. Those with heavy good deeds succeed. Small sincere deeds, good manners and dhikr can be very heavy.
Fact: Al-Qari'ah 101:6–7 also mentions heavy scales.
Ages 5–8: Heavy deeds. Name good deeds that make your scale heavy.
Ages 9–12: Weighing. Write which deeds you think are heaviest.
Finish with: "Those with heavy scales will ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will add good deeds to my scale every day."
Action: Add good deeds to your scale every day.
