وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ عَادٍۢ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًۭا وَتَنْحِتُونَ ٱلْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًۭا ۖ فَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ ءَالَآءَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
How to read it
Wa -dh'kurū 'idh' jaʻalakum' khulafā'a min[m] baʻ'di ʻādin wabawwa'akum' fī l-'ar'ḍi tattakhidhūna min suhūlihā quṣūran watan'ḥitūna l-jibāla buyūtan . fa-dh'kurū 'ālā'a -llahi walā taʻ'thaw' fī l-'ar'ḍi muf'sidīna
"And remember how He made you inheritors after the 'Ad people and gave you habitations in the land: ye build for yourselves palaces and castles in (open) plains, and care out homes in the mountains; so bring to remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah, and refrain from evil and mischief on the earth."
