فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ۖ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Fa'anjay'nāhu wa-lladhīna maʻahu biraḥ'matin mminnā waqaṭaʻ'nā dābira -lladhīna kadhdhabū bi'āyātinā . wamā kānū mu''minīna
We saved him and those who adhered to him. By Our mercy, and We cut off the roots of those who rejected Our signs and did not believe.

Allah saved Hud and those with him by His mercy and cut off those who denied His signs and would not believe.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who did Allah save?"
Settle down and play the start of Maher Al-Muaiqly's Al-A'raf (IbraheemAlHosani).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "By what were they saved?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the Qur'an repeat that believers are saved?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 72. Hud and the believers were saved by Allah's mercy. Those who denied were destroyed, mentioned in one line. Allah always saves His believers.
Fact: Find Al-Haqqah 69:6–7: 'Ad were destroyed by a furious wind for seven nights.
Ages 5–8: Mercy saves. Thank Allah for keeping you safe.
Ages 9–12: Saved by mercy. Write how Allah's mercy saves believers.
Finish with: "'Ad faced a furious ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for His protection."
Action: Thank Allah for His protection.
