۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
wa'idhā ṣurifat' 'ab'ṣāruhum' til'qā'a 'aṣ'ḥābi nnāri qālū rabbanā lā taj'ʻalnā maʻa l-qaw'mi ẓẓālimīna
When their eyes shall be turned towards the Companions of the Fire, they will say: "Our Lord! send us not to the company of the wrong-doers."

When their eyes are turned towards the people of the Fire, they say, 'Our Lord, do not put us with the wrongdoing people.'
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What dua would you make if you saw danger?"
Maryam Hadadj has a short Al-A'raf clip of Idrees Abkar reciting ayat 44–51. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is this dua important for us too?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 47. The people of the Heights make a simple dua: don't place us with the wrongdoers. We can make this dua too, asking to be with good people in this life and the next.
Fact: Find Ash-Shu'ara 26:83: join me with the righteous.
Ages 5–8: Good company dua. Ask Allah to put you with good people.
Ages 9–12: Company. Write why being with good people matters.
Finish with: "Join me with the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make dua for good friends."
Action: Make dua for good friends.
