ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًۭا وَهُم بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ كَٰفِرُونَ
Alladhīna yaṣuddūna ʻan sabīli -llahi wayab'ghūnahā ʻiwajan wahum bil-'ākhirati kāfirūna
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: they were those who denied the Hereafter."

They are those who blocked others from Allah's way, wanted to make it crooked and denied the Hereafter.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you think of someone who blocks a safe road?"
Play the short Al-A'raf clip of ayat 45–50 from IslamTheBest.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they want to make the path?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would people block others from good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 45. Some people tried to stop others from following Islam and twisted its meaning. Believers do the opposite: they help others find the straight path.
Fact: Find Ibrahim 14:3, describing the same people.
Ages 5–8: Clear the path. Help someone do a good deed.
Ages 9–12: Helpers. Write how to help others find the straight path.
Finish with: "They wanted to make the path ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help someone do something good."
Action: Help someone do something good.
