Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Could the Prophet make up verses?"

Begin Nasser Al-Qatami's Al-A'raf on YT Hamdallah and listen for a few minutes.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the Prophet say he follows?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does 'insight' mean?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 203. The Prophet couldn't invent verses; he waited for revelation. The Qur'an gives insight, like light for the heart, plus guidance and mercy.

Fact: Al-Haqqah 69:44–46 is about not inventing words.

Ages 5–8: Lights. Name an ayah that shines light on your life.

Ages 9–12: Insight. Write how the Qur'an gives insight.

Finish with: "The Qur'an is insight, guidance and ___."

Talk together:

• What did they ask?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What does the Prophet follow?
• Which ayah lights your way?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will reflect on one ayah daily."

• Qur'an is light.
