وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ
Wa -lladhīna tad'ʻūna min dūnihī lā yas'taṭīʻūna naṣ'rakum' walā 'anfussahum' yanṣurūna

Those you call on besides Him cannot help you, and they cannot even help themselves.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why does the Qur'an repeat that idols can't help?"
Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 196–206 of Al-A'raf, a short clip shared by Daily listen Quran .
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Whom can't they help?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why repeat this lesson?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 197. The Qur'an repeats this so it sinks in: only Allah helps. Repetition helps us remember important truths.
Fact: Compare 7:192 and 7:197. What's repeated?
Ages 5–8: Repeat to remember. Repeat 'only Allah helps' three times.
Ages 9–12: Repetition. Write why important lessons are repeated.
Finish with: "This lesson also appears in 7:___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember only Allah truly helps."
Action: Remember only Allah truly helps.
