وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa -lladhīna kadhdhabū bi'āyātinā sanas'tad'rijuhum mmin' ḥay'thu lā yaʻ'lamūna
Those who reject Our signs, We shall gradually visit with punishment, in ways they perceive not;

Those who deny Allah's signs, He will lead them on step by step in ways they do not realise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can something bad happen slowly without you noticing?"
A short clip on My Quran Journey recites ayat 171–187 of Al-A'raf. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How are they led?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is slow drift dangerous?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 182. Some people keep getting more while denying Allah and think all is well. Step by step, they drift further away, mentioned calmly. We check ourselves often.
Fact: How a boat can drift without its crew noticing, if no one checks.
Ages 5–8: Check in. Each night, think about your day.
Ages 9–12: Drift. Write how small steps can lead far away.
Finish with: "They are led step by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think about my day each night."
Action: Think about your day each night.
