وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa -lladhīna kadhdhabū bi'āyātinā waliqā'i l-'ākhirati ḥabiṭat' 'aʻ'māluhum' . hal' yuj'zaw'na 'illā mā kānū yaʻ'malūna
Those who reject Our signs and the meeting in the Hereafter,- vain are their deeds: Can they expect to be rewarded except as they have wrought?

Those who deny Allah's signs and the meeting in the Hereafter will find their deeds come to nothing; they are only repaid for what they did.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can good deeds count without faith?"
الشيخ خالد الغامدي posted a short recitation of ayat 142–156 of Al-A'raf. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to their deeds?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do deeds need faith to count?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 147. Deeds done without faith in Allah and the Hereafter don't count in the Hereafter, mentioned calmly. Faith gives our deeds value.
Fact: Find Al-Furqan 25:23: deeds without faith become like scattered dust.
Ages 5–8: Faith first. Talk about doing good for Allah.
Ages 9–12: Value of deeds. Write how faith gives deeds value.
Finish with: "Deeds without faith become like scattered ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make intentions for Allah."
Action: Make intentions for Allah.
