إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مُتَبَّرٌۭ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَٰطِلٌۭ مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
'Inna hā'ulā'i mutabbarun mmā hum' fīhi wabāṭilun mmā kānū yaʻ'malūna
"As to these folk,- the cult they are in is (but) a fragment of a ruin, and vain is the (worship) which they practise."

Musa said that what those people were devoted to would be destroyed, and all they did was useless.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can worshipping idols bring any good?"
Hear the opening minutes of Al-A'raf in Mishary Alafasy's voice, from مصاحف كبار القرّاء - شبكة الذكر الحكيم.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa say about their worship?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is idol worship useless?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 139. Musa explained that idol worship leads nowhere. Idols can't help, and devotion to them is wasted.
Fact: Find Al-Hajj 22:73: idols can't even create a fly.
Ages 5–8: Real or useless. Talk about why only Allah deserves worship.
Ages 9–12: Useless worship. Write why worshipping idols is wasted.
Finish with: "Idols can't even create a ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember only Allah deserves worship."
Action: Remember only Allah deserves worship.
