۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۖ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ
wa'aw'ḥay'nā 'ilā mūssā 'an' 'al'qi ʻaṣāka . fa'idhā hiya tal'qafu mā ya''fikūna
We put it into Moses's mind by inspiration: "Throw (now) thy rod":and behold! it swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake!

Allah inspired Musa to throw his staff, and at once it swallowed up everything they had faked.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens when truth meets tricks?"
Put on Nasser Al-Qatami's Al-A'raf from islamicfromjamal and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the staff do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does truth always defeat falsehood?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 117. Musa threw his staff, and it swallowed all their tricks. Truth from Allah wipes away falsehood.
Fact: Find Al-Isra 17:81: truth came and falsehood vanished.
Ages 5–8: Truth wins. Tell the story of the staff.
Ages 9–12: Truth vs falsehood. Write an example of truth winning.
Finish with: "Falsehood is bound to ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stand for the truth."
Action: Stand for the truth.
