How to read it
Qāla naʻam' wa'innakum' lamina l-muqarrabīna
He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)."

Pharaoh said, 'Yes, and you will be among those close to me.'
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is being close to a powerful person worth anything?"
I Love Allah has the whole of Al-A'raf by Saud Al-Shuraim. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh promise?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is closeness to Allah better?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 114. Pharaoh promised money and closeness to him. But being close to Allah is far better than being close to any king.
Fact: Find Al-Waqi'ah 56:11: those brought near to Allah.
Ages 5–8: Near to Allah. Name deeds that bring us closer to Allah.
Ages 9–12: Two kinds of closeness. Write which closeness matters more.
Finish with: "Those brought ___ to Allah."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one extra deed to get closer to Allah."
Action: Do one extra deed to get closer to Allah.
