وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
Wa laqad' makkannākum' fī l-'ar'ḍi wajaʻalnā lakum' fīhā maʻāyisha . qalīlan mmā tash'kurūna
It is We Who have placed you with authority on earth, and provided you therein with means for the fulfilment of your life: small are the thanks that ye give!

Allah settled people on the earth and gave them everything they need to live there, yet they give very little thanks.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does Allah give you every day?"
Hear the opening minutes of Al-A'raf in Yasser Al-Dosari's voice, from Al-Quran Al-Karim.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah provide?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people forget to thank Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 10. Allah gave us the earth with food, water, homes and all we need. Yet many people forget to say thank you.
Fact: How much of the earth's surface is covered by water? About 71%.
Ages 5–8: Thank you list. Name five things on earth you are thankful for.
Ages 9–12: Earth gifts. Write how the earth is prepared for us to live on.
Finish with: "About ___% of the earth is water."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for five gifts each day."
Action: Thank Allah for five gifts each day.
