4-I guide
Surah Al-A'raf begins with four letters, Alif Lam Mim Sad, whose full meaning Allah knows.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why might a surah begin with letters on their own?"
Play the short Al-A'raf clip of ayat 1–10 from PAR CHANNEL.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How many letters open this surah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What could the opening letters teach us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 1. Al-A'raf means 'the Heights', a place between Jannah and the Fire mentioned in this surah. It is one of the longest surahs and tells the stories of many prophets: Adam, Nuh, Hud, Salih, Lut, Shu'ayb and Musa.
Fact: Which other surah begins with Alif Lam Mim and which begins with Sad alone.
Ages 5–8: Letter hunt. Find Alif, Lam, Mim and Sad on the first page of the surah.
Ages 9–12: Prophet list. Write the prophets you expect to meet in Al-A'raf.
Finish with: "Al-A'raf means the ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one story from Surah Al-A'raf."
Action: Learn one story from Surah Al-A'raf.
