4-I guide
So glorify the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
Start with bismillah.
Listen outside early in the morning. Ask: "Why do birds sing so much at dawn?"
Watch the Colossal Cranium video Why Do Birds Sing In The Morning?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah tell us to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does all of creation praise Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 52, the last ayah. The key word fa-sabbih means so glorify, and al-'azim means the Great. After all the signs and warnings, the surah ends with praise. In ruku, we praise Allah the Great. Birds fill the dawn with song, and all creation praises Allah in its own way.
Fact: What is the dawn chorus?
Ages 5–8: Dawn listen. Wake early once this week and count how many different birds you hear.
Ages 9–12: Bird song. Find out three reasons why birds sing.
Finish with: "I found that the dawn chorus is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanAllah thirty-three times after one salah each day."
Action: Say subhanAllah thirty-three times after one salah each day.
