4-I guide
The Quran came down from Allah, Lord of everything that exists.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can scientists talk to a spacecraft billions of kilometres away?"
Watch the NASA video How Do We Communicate with Faraway Spacecraft?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does the Quran come from?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the Quran come down to the Prophet?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 43. The key words tanzilun min rabbil-'alamin mean a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds. Giant dishes on Earth catch faint signals from far-off spacecraft. The Quran came from Allah, through the angel Jibril, to the Prophet, over twenty-three years.
Fact: How long does a signal take to travel from Voyager to Earth?
Ages 5–8: Dish catcher. Make a dish shape from foil and see how it gathers sound when you hold it to your ear.
Ages 9–12: Revelation timeline. Find out where and when the first and last ayat were revealed.
Finish with: "I found that a signal from Voyager takes about ___ to reach Earth."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep my mushaf in a clean, high place."
Action: Keep your mushaf in a clean, high place.
