'Innā lammā ṭaghā l-mā'u ḥamalnākum' fī l-jāriyati
We, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark),

When the water rose too high, Allah carried you in the sailing ship.
Start with bismillah.
Put a lump of clay in water, then shape it into a boat. Ask: "Why does the boat shape float?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah do when the water rose?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Allah save the believers in the ship?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 11. The key words tagha al-ma' mean the water rose beyond limits, and al-jariyah means the sailing ship. This is the ship of Prophet Nuh. Allah saved the believers, and we are their descendants. Ships float because their shape pushes away lots of water.
Fact: Who was Archimedes and what did he find out about floating?
Ages 5–8: Clay boats. Shape clay into a ball and a boat. Which floats?
Ages 9–12: Cargo test. Make foil boats and count how many coins each holds before sinking.
Finish with: "I found that Archimedes discovered ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for keeping my family safe."
Action: Thank Allah for keeping your family safe.
