How to read it
'Ani (u)gh'dū ʻalā ḥar'thikum' 'in kuntum' ṣārimīna
"Go ye to your tilth (betimes) in the morning, if ye would gather the fruits."

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where were they hurrying to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What were they really hurrying for?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 22. The key words ghdu 'ala harthikum mean go early to your crops. Getting up early is a good habit, but these men hurried for a selfish reason: to pick everything before the poor arrived. The reason we do things matters.
Fact: Why do farmers often start work very early in the day?
Ages 5–8: Morning chart. Make a picture chart of your morning routine.
Ages 9–12: Good reasons. List three things you do and the reason behind each. Are they good reasons?
Finish with: "I found that farmers start early because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start each task with a good intention."
Action: Start each task with a good intention.
