4-I guide
Allah warns that He will mark him on the nose.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What amazing things can an elephant do with its trunk, which is really its nose?"
Watch the Insider Science video What's Inside An Elephant Trunk?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will he be marked?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the ayah mention the nose?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 16. The key words 'alal-khurtum mean on the snout. In Arabic, a raised nose is a sign of pride. The proud man who looked down on others would be humbled in the very place he held high. The nose is one of Allah's amazing gifts to us.
Fact: How many muscles are in an elephant's trunk?
Ages 5–8: Smell test. Close your eyes and guess three smells (lemon, mint, bread).
Ages 9–12: Nose facts. Compare the noses of an elephant, a dog and a human. What can each do?
Finish with: "I found that an elephant's trunk has about ___ muscles."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will greet everyone the same, without looking down on anyone."
Action: Greet everyone the same, without looking down on anyone.
