قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِىَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍۢ
Qul' 'ara'ay'tum' 'in' 'ah'lakaniya -llahu waman mmaʻiya 'aw' raḥimanā faman yujīru l-kāfirīna min' ʻadhābin 'alīmin
Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?"

Say: whether Allah takes me and those with me or shows us mercy, who will protect the deniers from a painful punishment?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do lifeboats stay safe in giant waves?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does the Prophet ask them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Where can we find real safety?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mulk is surah 67. Find ayah 28. The key word yujiru means to protect or give refuge. The Makkans hoped the Prophet would die, as if that would solve their problems. The Prophet answers: whatever happens to us is in Allah's hands, but who will rescue you? Real safety is only with Allah.
Fact: How does a lifeboat turn itself the right way up?
Ages 5–8: Floaty test. Find which household things float and could be used to rescue a toy.
Ages 9–12: Rescue facts. Find out how lifeboat crews prepare for a rescue.
Finish with: "I found that lifeboats right themselves by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help someone who is struggling."
Action: Help someone who is struggling.
