4-I guide
So they will confess their sins, but it is too late; far away are the people of the Blaze.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is it better to own up straight away than after you're caught?"
Watch the CoolToonz Rhea and Ricky video about honesty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When do they admit their sins?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is now the right time to say sorry to Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mulk is surah 67. Find ayah 11. The key words fa'tarafu bi-dhanbihim mean they confessed their sin. Admitting is good, but it was too late. In this life, Allah's door of forgiveness is open every day. Honesty now saves us later.
Fact: What does "confess" mean?
Ages 5–8: Honesty pledge. Draw a door that says "open" and write one thing you want to say sorry to Allah for.
Ages 9–12: Today, not tomorrow. Write why it's better to fix a mistake today.
Finish with: "I found that confess means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will own up the same day I make a mistake."
Action: Own up the same day you make a mistake.
